Ada was born in Sunningdale, Berkshire and was the daughter of Walter James and Hannah Caroline Bolwell (nee Fisher) and was the wife of William Walter Ernest Braddon. Sadly Ada and William, their daughter Pamela Ada, and two members of the Bolwell family, Alice Maude Bolwell and Lewis Edward Bolwell perished as a result of an enemy air attack at their home in Grierson Road, Forest Hill. All except Lewis Bolwell were laid to rest at HITHER GREEN CEMETERY on the 24th September 1940 in a family plot. At the time of her passing Ada was 36 years of age.
