  	Find-a-grave website memorial ID 24654507 plot section DD grave 216 William Walter Ernest Braddon was a civilian casualty of WW2 William was the son of Ernest Nicholas and Louisa Sarah Braddon (nee Adams), and the husband of Ada Lottie Braddon (nee Bolwell). Sadly William, Ada, their daughter Pamela Ada, and two members of the Bolwell family, Alice Maude Bolwell and Lewis Edward Bolwell, perished as a result of an enemy air attack at their home in Grierson Road, Forest Hill. All except Lewis Bolwell* were laid to rest together in a family grave at HITHER GREEN CEMETERY on the 24th September 1940. At the time of his passing William, a printer, was 35 years of age. Lewis, a civil servant, was listed in the burial register at Hither Green, but his details have been crossed out so it is unknown if he is interred at Hither Green Cemetery
