BURNETT-STUART WELL-KNOWN BANFFSHIRE RESIDENT One of Banffshire's best known men, Mr George Eustace Burnett-Stuart, brother of General Sir John Burnett- Stuart of Dens and Crichie, died at his residence, Ardmeallie, Bridge of Marnoch, yesterday. A son of the late Mr E. R. Burnett- Stuart of Dens and Crichie. he was educated at Repton and Trinity College, Cambridge. He had a distinguished career in the Egyptian Civil Service. He was created C.B.E. in 1918. Retiring a number of years ago, he purchased Ardmeallie, Bridge of Marnoch. He was well known and highly respected. A keen angler, he was also one of the most enthusiastic members and players of the Duff House Royal Golf Club. Mr Burnett-Stuart is survived by his widow and a family.
